Matthew Akuzawa

VP Pledge Education

Matthew is a third year double majoring in mathematics and economics. In high school, he started the economics club and played club soccer. At UChicago, he has continued to play club soccer while furthering his studies in maths and econ. This past summer, he worked at a start up incubator that focused on D2C tech startups. Matthew joined DSP in the Winter of 2021 and became a pledge co-chair the quarter after. Outside of the classroom, he likes to study Ancient Greek and Roman history, play video games, and watch soccer games.
